Renault are unveiling their new Gordini concept cat at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, a modern take on a 1960s original. That car from 1964 had a rear-engined setup with rear-wheel drive and a meagre 94 hp to play with. This 2026 concept version uses a single electric motor positioned at the rear developing 264 hp. The styling was done entirely in-house, resulting in a low, wide and square aesthetic in a tightly packaged coupe form. The taillights are pure concept car with then only appearing when on, otherwise they recede completely into the paint. The front end if full of light fixtures, looking mean and giving off major old-school rally car vibes.
