Renault have given a glimpse into what a beach car version of the Renault 4 could look like, and it’s kind of funky. Featuring an open-air design, the JP4x4 concept has a built-in cross shaped roof section for stowing a surfboard, and bespoke door blades that provide plenty of airflow through the cabin. The emerald green bodywork is really set off by the orange-hued interior which has been inspired by some of Renault’s 1970’s model with the “Egyptian mummy” seats. If you were thinking this could be interesting if they actual made it, you may be disappointed, as Renault have no plans for a production version.
