The popular Range Rover Sport has arrived for the new generation Range Rover with options for hybrid and V8 powertrains. Sitting 50mm lower, the Sport features new calibrations for the air-springs, dampers and anti-roll bars in an effort to provide a greater connection to the road. The overall package is smaller than the regular Range Rover with the Sport measuring 106mm shorter and weighing in 70 kg lighter.
The highest performance spec has the same BMW sourced 4.4L twin turbocharged V8 engine, with 523 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque on tap. A version of this engine with a higher state of tune is expected for the SVR version when that arrives later in 2022.
