The most powerful Morgan has hit town, and it’s wearing a GTR badge. Powered by a BMW sourced 4.8L V8 engine tuned to produce 375 hp and 361 lb-ft of torque, the Plus 8 GTR can stake its claim as the king of the Morgans. It also represents the end of the line for the Plus 8, with the GTR only becoming a reality when some unused chassis were discovered, ripe for making something special. Only nine will be made with each tailored to their individual customer’s needs whilst also paying tribute to the ‘Big Blue’ Morgan racer of the 1990s.
