Morgan and Pininfarina have joined forces to create a limited-run coachbuilt special called the Midsummer. Using Morgan’s CX-generation platform, the Midsummer features bespoke bodywork and interior design to make it a one of the most exclusive and expensive Morgan model to date.
Whilst the underlying design remains quintessentially Morgan, Pininfarina have fitted a body made from hand-formed aluminium that tales 250 hours to make. They have also removed the front windscreen and any hint of a roof, and included exposed teak on the exterior that surrounds the cabin. This is made up from combining over 400 individual layers of the hardwood and forms the most striking element of the overall design.
