Hennessey are celebrating 30 years of making cars faster with the 1,000 horsepower 30th Anniversary Exorcist Camaro ZL1. It will be limited to a 30 car run, and will complete the 100 Exorcists Hennessey planned to built all up. Anniversary logos will feature on the car’s front flanks, set behind each of the front wheels.
Originally developed to ‘slay the Dodge Demon ,’ the Exorcist boasts more power (1,000 hp to 840 hp) more torque (883 lb-ft to 770 lb-ft) a faster 0-60mph time (2.1 seconds to 2.4 seconds) and a higher top speed (217 mph to 207 mph). It is also capable of a sub 10 second quarter mile time stopping the clock in 9.57 seconds, and has no problems turning any set of tires into smoke thanks to all that torque.
