Jeep has revealed the Scrambler SRT concept as a modern take on the CJ-8 Scrambler, with 2 doors and a truck bed. Whilst this is only a concept for now, Jeep says it previews an upcoming production version set to arrive in 2028. The original Scrambler from the 1980’s was the first Jeep model with a cargo bed, and now both the badge and the body style are being resurrected for the late 2020’s. Fitted with an unknown V8 engine that one would think is at least a Hemi 392, this concept features an independent front suspension setup and a trophy truck–inspired rear axle.
