The M3 Touring race car that started life as an April Fool’s joke is blazing its own path as a wagon on the racetrack. Originally shown off on April Fool’s Day in 2025, BMW M Motorsport has gone on to actually build it and race it at the Nurburgring 24, earning an impressive fifth place finish. I think wagons are awesome, and a wagon race car is great to see. Maybe BMW can spark a new trend of wagons taking to the racetrack in competition and showing the world there are good alternatives to buying another SUV.
