Rimac’s new Nevera R is a more powerful version of the world’s quickest car with over 2,000 hp to play with. Rimac have not only added more power into the mix, they have also developed a new battery designed for the higher power output, updated the chassis and aero elements and re-engineered certain elements with the use of next-generation technology.
The performance numbers are a bit mind boggling with Rimac quoting 0-62 mph in 1.81 seconds, 0-124 mph in 4.38 seconds and 0-186 mph in only 8.66 seconds. The regular top speed is limited to 217 mph, with Rimac allowing select customers to unlock the full 256 mph top speed when overseen by Rimac themselves.
