Mercedes have just laid down a statement with the reveal of the Vision Iconic Concept, where 1930’s style meets modern tech. Mercedes-Benz are on the hunt for a new design identity after their failed start to the electric era with the EQ range, and this could be the start of a bold new design language. For this concept they have drawn upon the influence of luxurious Mercedes coupes from the 1930s, and wow, it’s certainly working here. With it’s extra-long hood and swept back cabin, the Vision Iconic Concept has a sinister look to it with a more ornate, elegant design than the current range of Mercs on the road.
