Mercedes has unveiled their Porsche Taycan rival with the 1,000+ horsepower Concept AMG GT XX. Powering the show are three new axial flux e-motors designed and developed by British firm Yasa who are now a Mercedes subsidiary. These are three-times as power dense and two-times as torque dense when compared to a typical radial flux equivalent. The figures quoted for this concept stand at 1,341 hp and a top speed of over 233 mph.
