Aston Martin have revealed the refreshed Vantage with new DB12-esque styling and a big power boost. It’s wider than before and the front-end design has been tweaked to bring it much more in line with the recently well-received DB12 styling . Where the big changes lite though is in the powertrain and chassis.
The hand-built AMG-sourced 4.0L twin turbocharged V8 has undergone some serious changes as power has increased by 153 hp to 656 in total, and torque has risen by 85 lb-ft to 590. Those increases bring the V8 very close to the V12 Vantage in power and even surpasses it in peak torque output. Aston now claims a 0-60 mph time of 3.4 seconds and a 202 mph top speed.
