Toyota’s rally‑bred GR Yaris hot hatch is launching with a new facelift, more power and performance. Thanks to upgraded engine internals, a revised exhaust, increased direct injection pressure, a new intake air-pressure sensor, and lightweight pistons, the 2024 GR Yaris develops 300 hp and 295 lb-ft. The six-speed manual transmission remains but is now joined by an eight-speed automatic gearbox option for the first time. It is a torque-converter design with a focus on shift speed and performance.
