Shelby American is unleashing their new Super Snake, a supercharged Mustang with 830 horsepower. The big power comes curtesy of a large 3.0L Whipple supercharger feeding Fords 5.0L Coyote V8 and a Borla exhaust system. In order to help manage the extra heat output, Shelby have also fitted a bigger radiator and heat exchanger.
For the exterior, the Super Snake gets carbon fibre hood vents, wide body front fenders, front fascia inserts, rear wing and rear diffuser. The hood is made from aluminium complete with pin locks, and 20-inch forged magnesium wheels finish off the exterior appointments. Shelby are planning for the Super Snake to be a one-year build only with production limited to 250 units.
