Spectre rolls out as Rolls-Royce’s very first all-electric model, a handsome four-seater coupe. Utilising the powertrain from the BMW i7, the Spectre is built on a bespoke aluminium space frame chassis with the battery built into the structure. This makes it 30 per cent stiffer than any other Rolls and has helped to create a smooth underbody which provides better sound deadening and a lower seating position.
Final performance numbers are yet to be locked in, but Rolls-Royce are projecting around 577 hp, 664 lb-ft of torque, a 0-60 mph acceleration time of 4.4 seconds and driving range of 320 miles.
