Nissan Motorsport and three-time Formula Drift Champion Chris Forsberg have teamed up to create the Frontier Tarmac Concept just in time for SEMA. The idea is to be a throwback to the days of midsize performance trucks dominating the SEMA show in the early 2000’s.
“Twenty years ago, having a performance truck was definitely a cool thing. But today, very rarely do you see lowered, performance truck builds,” said Forsberg. “I haven’t built a lowered truck since 2003. It just seemed fun—it was different.”
