Acura’s Type S brand has expanded to include the MDX, creating a sleek looking performance SUV. Following in the footsteps of the Acura TLX Type S , the MDX Type S gets the same 355 hp turbocharged V6 engine with 354 lb-ft of torque and a 0-60 mph sprint time of 5.7 seconds.
The brands Super Handling All-Wheel Drive setup, which has torque-vectoring capabilities, has been employed helping to make this the sportiest version of the MDX to date. To help with extra stopping power, Acura have fitted bigger Brembo front brakes and programmed a new Sport+ driving mode for this model only.
