Lexus are going off-road with their latest ROV concept car that features a combustion engine that runs on hydrogen. Whilst most hydrogen fuelled cars utilise electric motors, the ROV concept has a small 1.0L internal combustion engine for the job. This means nearly zero emissions (Lexus say a very small amount of oil is burned off during operation) whilst maintaining the sounds and character of a piston engine.
