Jaguar have given the SVR treatment to the F-Pace, transplanting their 542 horsepower supercharged V8 into the mid sized SUV. The performance credentials come in the form of a 0-60 mph sprint of 4.1 seconds and onwards to a top speed of 176 mph. Those numbers aren’t very impressive in the category the F-Pace SVR resides in, as it’s competitors like the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio, Mercedes-AMG GLC63 and Porsche Macan Turbo produce the same or better with less power.
The engine is not the only change in the F-Pace SVR, with the stiffer springs and tuned dampers, thicker anti-roll bars and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential all providing a more sporty experience. New forged aluminium wheels are present in both 21 inch and 22 inch sizes that are designed to guide air to the larger 395mm front and 396mm rear brakes.
