Utilising parts from the competition pack M3 to improve power and reduce weight, BMW have released the special edition 2018 M3 CS. The 3.0L twin turbocharged inline 6 engine has been revised to deliver and extra 28 hp to 454 hp in total. Torque has risen 37 lb-ft to a peak of 443 lb-ft from 4000 to 5380 rpm. This new power is complimented with the M sports exhaust system that has been specially tuned for the CS, and feature quad stainless-steel tailpipes sitting nicely amongst the carbon fiber-reinforced plastic rear diffuser. helping the weight saving are light M sports seats, and the removal of automatic climate control and surround sound system. Production of this limited run model will be set at 1,200 units worldwide.
