The Ferrari California was always a little underpowered when it originally launched, so the Italian supercar maker put in a twin turbo engine and finally gave it the proper amount of power and torque a few years later. Novitec Rosso, the well-known tuner of fine automobiles thought that extra power wasn’t enough so went about fixing the situation.
With the launch of their California T Novitec have added a further 86 horsepower, making the total power figure now 645 PS (474 kW). This was achieved by upgrading the engine management software and replacing the exhaust system with a high performance setup that uses the ultra lightweight material Inconel. The extra power has resulted in a top speed increase to 200 mph, not bad in a package that allows the roof to be put down to have the wind blasting through your hair.
