McLaren’s mighty P1 hypercar was made up in full carbon fiber for only 20 examples, losing weight and adding expense. The hybrid powertrain of the P1 consist of a 38L tin turbocharged V8 engine that produces 727 hp on it’s own and an electric motor that is good for another 176 hp. When combined the peak power output is 903 hp with 900 Nm of torque, which in any language is a lot. All that helps to propel the P1 from 0-62 mph in only 2.8 seconds and onwards to a top speed of 233 mph.
