The second generation Hyundai Coupe saw sharper styling, larger dimensions and the introduction of a V6. That engine was 2.7L in capacity and made 165 hp and 245 Nm of torque for European countries and 173 hp with the same torque in Japan. It was a minor increase over the 141 hp 2.0L inline 4 engine that was also offered.
