One of only 71 produced, this Jaguar is a rare short-nose version of the D-Type that never went racing. This example was manufactured in 1956 and went on to go through a semi-XKSS specification conversion, adding a passenger door and full-width windscreen whilst removing the central bulkhead. The Jaguar D-Type itself is a legendary race car clocking up wins in the 1955, 1956 and 1957 Le Mans 24-hour.
